I've attempted to dine at this restaurant twice before and couldn't get a table, but this time I was able to secure one. The front hostess was incredibly nice and friendly. The food was delicious, and the presentation was very appealing. We had a great time at this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

Awesome sharing plates spot. The food is wonderful, fresh and fun. More tequila than you know what to do with and very attentive service even at peak times. Always a go to when we visit Fernie!

I wish I could give extra stars! These are quite possibly the best tacos I've ever had and as far as good food this place ranks right up with Italy level food! How a little hole in the wall place in Fernie can produce food this good on a Monday night is well...its just unbelievable! A reccomendation I cannot leave enough for anyone looking for a delicious meal in Fernie!

After a 7-hour drive to Fernie, we were excited to dive into the experience at this buzzing hotspot. The ambiance is lively with a super dark and energetic vibe, which some might find a bit loud and chilly—note to self: keep the jackets on! The food, however, stole the show. Every one of the six shareable dishes was exceptionally well done, with the borkbelly bites on a bed of lettuce being an absolute standout. While the drinks were enjoyable, they didn’t quite match the stellar quality of the food, and the price point left a bit to be desired. Service was friendly, though there were moments when things moved a bit slowly—our drinks took about 15 minutes, in contrast to the lightning-fast kitchen. All in all, it’s a great little place with an amazing food menu, and despite a bill close to 200, we’re definitely planning to return the next time we’re in Fernie.

February 11, 2023 Came here with 2 friends during a ski trip to fernie. Highly recommend waiting no matter how long the wait time is. We were quoted 2 hours wait time but we got a text after 15 minutes. I ordered the pisco sour as a nostalgic order from my visits to south America and was happy with that. A friend ordered the casear and enjoyed thst as well. The bbq flavour in the casear was a nice touch. Since there was 3 of us the La Familia tacos was a perfect. We went with the achiote pork, pork belly, and drunken beef tacos. Pork belly was obviously the best, followed by a delicious drunken taco but was a bit simple. Good beef taste. And lastly I would say was the achiote pork which was good but dry. I also had the feature taco at the time which had brussel sprouts which was good but didn't wow me. After the tacos we ordered patacones. This dish came with 6 chips covered in their Pico de Gallo. This dish was delicious and well loved by all 3 of us. Highly recommend, especially for the 9 price tag. Came back February 24, 2024 with my wife. We ordered 5 tacos: pork belly, bbq pork and the Yucatan style chicken. I think this time the bbq pork was my favorite. It had a small bit of spice to it but was quite nice. All three were quite good and you can't go wrong. But be aware they are on the small size. We also ordered the flan for dessert. My wife thought it was "delightful". Not too sweet. We were seated near the door so we found it to be drafty at times and also found it a bit loud for having conversation at our table for 2. Came here March 29, 2025 as a group of 5. We were told 2 hour wait and it ended up being 1 hour which we killed by walking around town. Well worth the wait as per usual. This evening we went hard on the tapas. We ordered chips and guacamole, winter squash salad, achiote glazed pork belly, beetroot asada, and the papitas from the tapas menu. The pork belly really stood out. We also ordered La Familia Tacos electing for a 2x of pork belly and drunken beef. The pork belly we felt underwhelmed, especially compared to the tapas order. Our group quite enjoyed the drunken beef though. Next time we would order more tapas though as every tapas dish was excellent, and would order the lamb shank next. Worth the wait and can't go wrong ordering any dish here!!
